Let's see, Jeggie's fiance and her whole family races, his brothers and his nephew races and I saw a step-niece win in a Jr. Dragster this summer. Oh yeah, and Jeg races sportsmen classes whenever he can, although he hasn't had the dragpak out in a while. I'd say that there is a future in drag racing for Jeg!

Competition Plus is adamant about not starting or perpetuating rumors, so the smart money says this one's not a rumor. Now as to what will actually happen, who the heck knows. There's a jillion things Jeg Coughlin could do differently besides simply quit racing.

Yeah I don't think anything was hinted toward him quitting, I don't see that happening. Maybe he's just going in a different direction, he could pretty much do what he wants.

Pro Stock fans might be dismayed but Jeg would probably do well in TF. I don't think he'd need a ride; Jeg's has plenty of resources.

I remember when the Captain was driving, and seeing Jeggie in the pits when he was just starting to walk.

I'm with you Chris. The cool thing is, Jeggie and his brothers, along with Morgan Lucas, don't seem to be prima donnas, they really have a passion for the sport. I don't know these guys personally, but that's how they come across. And Jeggie seems to enjoy a weekend of bracket racing as much as thebig show.

I have my doubts about that-Samantha's dad and brother are in Vegas racing this weekend-they probably race as many weekends if not more than the pros!

I completely disagree. Why would anyone think a man couldn't come up with the decision that perhaps family and business is more important than repeating a championship?

Why wouldn't a sane family man come to his own conclusion "Ya know, I already have a couple of rings on my fingers. Mebbe it's time to devote some time to the personal stuff????"
