you know guys, I sometimes wonder if you are even aware of what happens at a national event. Memories are very short. what goes on today at a national event is the same as what has gone on for decades. national events are about the spectators. they pay to watch the fast cars, and to take it further, it is the nitro cars. people start getting into their seats when the TA, pro stock and pro mod cars run on friday and saturday, and are in their seats for the nitro cars. Sunday the nitro cars start the festivities and after they run people start to dispurse again. When the sportsman cars get their chance people (FOR THE MOST PART) are off to the pits or consessions etc. Fans (FOR THE MOST PART) pay to see nitro. That is the reality and will not change. Sportsman racers know this as well. They just what to race and want the chance to will a national wally, The NHRA has programs in place to reward the sportsman racers in every class. they get rewarded for being world champs etc. If they weren't willing to put up with the changes of scheduling at a national event they would not go. They do it becasue they want to. No one is forcing them to go to a national.
If you as a fan do not want to be interupted by the fast cars, or have your day turned upside down by changes to scheduling to accomidate the pros and tv go to a sportsnationals.
Life to too shart to rant on a subject that will never change to your liking, and the sooner you understand that that and move on to something that is much more improtant to be pissed off about the better off you will be.
Pick your battles, this one is not going to change.
It is so counterproductive to be angry about something you can't control.
Don't sweat the things you have no say over, this will never change.

Pro Mod got kicked on at NHRA events since they started running, yet they made the decision to pay big money this year to continue their chance to run their. NHRA must be doing something right.
