John Force Racing and Austin and Jimmy Prock have ended the racing partnership that produced NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series Funny Car championships the past two seasons for the 24-time championship organization.

My guess is that Tasca, with a big chunk of money from Ford, made them an offer they couldn't refuse. As Force said, it's a business.

I don't care. I just hope they all stay in racing. I can root for well-funded Tasca to win the same as I can root for Beckman to win. Force will be fine; the guy has nothing left to prove. Alexis is the sole heiress to a $3 billion estate so she's good. Hart will bring money and everybody likes Jack Beckman. The Procks won't be easy to replace but whoever does will no doubt have their marbles in one basket.

I'd love to see Bobby get a shot at it. The choice may be another big name driver. JFR said they will announce in December. PRI starts Dec 11.
