I don't think so. If a drive train can handle 2000hp (for example) during acceleration on a drag strip, I certainly hope it can handle a burn out.....

John Force did a burnout in his fuel coupe in the NBC/Burbank studios before a Leno show.
I knew he was gonna do it by the look on his face....and not even w/ his fireesuit or helmet on...between a row of employee cars to the tune of 200ft.
No one complained!

True, but I bet they made sure there was nobody anywhere near the Burnout path.
