So what your saying is that if you do it for a living it's O.K. to mouth off to people at the other end and whine about it? Look I have tried to be a Cruz or Tony fan for a long time, but everytime they open their mouths I have to go the other way. Johnny may be doing it as a hobby but he still worked hard to make the funds to race be it in another field, and he is not going to take the stuff the Peds are dishing out. At some point the whining needs to stop, or they need to go to NASCAR.

There's been so much talk in recent years about people wishing for drivers that weren't public relations machines. Wishing for drivers that didn't always rattle off a litany of sponsor names anytime they get within a 5 foot radius of a microphone. Here you've got two guys, both champions, that will give you an honest opinion, pull no punches. However, they're the whiners. Whit Bazemore used to get this same garbage for years. Personally, I'll take Cruz, Tony and Whit over a lot the sponsor speakers any day. Your mileage may vary.

I love Cruz and I love Tony, and I love Charles Smith's point.
I don't know the Ped bros, but I love the fact that these guys are what I see as a positive in the world of the NHRA super teams that are slowly and surely eroding the basic foundation on which the NHRA was built upon..

That's a ridiculous statement to make about any team. If you don't like Force that's fine but don't mike asinine statements that drag racing is better-off when a major team that brings huge dollars and exposure to the sport loses.
I'm not saying this become I'm a Force fan. The same can be said for Al-Anabi, DSR or any other big team.
Statements like that make a person look foolish and childish.

Multi-car race teams IMO are one of the nails in the NHRA coffin.
Napa, Castrol, the US Army.. They weren't drawn to drag racing because of huge ownership teams, they are here to sell their goods, and they picked the best owners to represent them. That said, who is to say that there aren't better, more hard working potential team owners who can no longer get their foot in the door because of the current team concepts?
Personally, I love it when an independent wins, and nobody represents or identifies with the American working man better than an independent car owner. Don't fool yourself into thinking that Force would have more fans pulling for him if an independent was facing him in the final.
Personally, I think Force is now doing more damage than good for the sport. The sch-peal is old, tired and worn out, mainly because all of the other outspoken personalities of the NHRA were either chased out and that's all that's left.
The Ped bros are just about all that's left from an era gone by, and it seems like the rest of you guys would like to see them get pushed out also..
