The problem is, the only way this thread wouldn't have started is if John had beaten Mike Neff.Any other circumstance(smoke the tires, red light, tire shake, etc) and he gets accused of cheating. Let it go already....
Mike Dunn said it best, you don't win 15 championships by leaving a throttle stop on. John was dead late and that happened. A big pat on the back to AJR and DSR for racing heads up. For the record, I don't think John had a car that could beat Neff. We now have a 3 man race in FC. If DSR threw races Neff still wouldn't be in the title picture but Don is a man of his word and keeps the integrity of the sport.
What happened to 3 of the 4 cars? The ol mighty team that couldn't lose in the first part of the year has dropped an egg in the Countdown. Beckman has the best car in FC right now.
Ron had nothing to due with it, NAPA wanted results. I think Don is looking like a genius right now with both of his cars at the top of the standings and he has the quickest cars on the property.

You're wrong there, if he had actually raced him heads up, this thread would never had been started. Seriously, a (.161) light? When's the last time John Force cut a light that bad?
John has proven one thing for sure over the years, that he sucks at throwing races. At least set the car up to blow the tires off at mid track or something, and give us somewhat of a valient effort.

Can you guys grow up and get over it? It's Don's choice to be heads up, but if Don changed his mind, I would understand. WHY? BECAUSE IT'S BUSINESS. John Force has had a pitiful year by JFR standards and if that's what was BEST for the BUSINESS then the BUSINESS must win. As for Langdon falling to alBalooshi, do you think it was really best for the interest of the team to let the only points chase car lose? Now we know why Jason McCulloch never posts here! Not like he or the entire team worked their asses off the entire season, no that can't be it!

It's hard to cut a good light when you can only open the throttle 10-15%.
