Harley's in the final......

Your comparison is comparing apples to oranges. Handicapping assorted power adders is not the same as handicapping manufacturers power plants. Ford, Chevy, Dodge with NO2 all are required to run up to 910 cid at 2,425 lbs. No favoritism.

It's the same thought process Dan.......using power to weight ratios to establish parity.

And I think it's safe to say that at the professional level, there's no difference at all between a Ford, Chevy or Dodge........they're all Hemi's! The only differentiator is who the sponsor is ;)

You remember PRO COMP?? ................It didn't work.
How about early PRO STOCK......lbs. per cu.in............ it didn't work.
In a heads-up pro catagory, a min lbs-max cu.in. and "like" power adders works best. (imo)

And, as it always is with NHRA, hard work is rewarded with...

Yeah. I remember Pro Comp pretty well. My dad raced in it. His car won the Winternationals.

Pro Stock then, was better than it is now. Pro Mod is pretty cool like it is. Pro Comp was awesome!!!
