got direct tv got a problem ?

Damn Directv................Yes i have the same problem. My HD service is workin' though. And Arend just took out Toliver!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

I am shocked that you actually got a real person at DirectTV. I didnt think they had any working there---their "CUSTOMER SERVICE" is a JOKE!!!!!!

For what it's worth, my reception on ESPN2 on Dish Network has been sketchy throughout this broadcast. Haven't lost it yet, but it has been breaking up into pixels and making it unintelligble. Anyone else with Dish been having these symptoms also?

I didn't have a problem at all with the broadcast.DirecTV has been in my home for alomost 13 years.

Sounds like up link or satellite itself.

Were you watching HD though? If so, that's the difference. Many people over at YellowBullet also complained about ESPN2 (standard definition) going down.

That's kinda the point, the problem was with the SD channel, not the HD channel.

I was wathching the SD version my TiVO had recorded, and it too flipped to the DirecTV logo. It appeared to be something wrong witht he stream as my TiVo had trouble FFWDing through it. But I eventually got through it and wathced the rest of the race.

Same thing happened to me. I ended up with 3 separate recordings. I wasn't watching at the time. Good thing it started recording again when the broadcast restarted! I did miss Capps' 1st round run, but I already knew what happened.
