I agree Kelly. Suzi and I have another couple coming out with us so I'd guess my time outside of being at the track will be somewhat limited.
 
Me too, I'm going to V2 (I never miss either Vegas race) and I always go with the biggest dreams of doing all kinds of cool things in that great town. Shows, partying, etc., etc.

And... I never get around to them.

I spend all my days at the race, and end up grabbing a nice dinner, spending a few minutes at a table in the casino, and crashing -- just in time to do it again. :eek:

I spent my weddin' night in Mesquite, NV at (of all places) The Virgin River Casino!!! I have always thought that was funny!!!

We had a busy day. Up at 7:00 a.m. to get to the Las Vegas Courthouse to get the license, then off to the Graceland Wedding Chapel, got married, loaded the band back up in the van, drove to Mesquite, NV for a gig that night at The Virgin River Casino! :D

There is not a whole lot up there. I do reccommend that you watch out for "Aliens"!!!:D

Woo hoo Kel. There we go. The Carnaval court is a blast to hang out at. We've consumed several adult beverages there in the past. This should be a fun Halloween. Kel, are you and the cuzzes gonna be there?

Very likely to be chilly this time of year after dark outdoors.

True, but it'd be nothing like we had Halloween here in Minnesota about 5 years ago back in 1991 (Hi Greggo). We got 31 inches of snow in a storm that began Halloween afternoon and continued for 36 hours. 2 days before that, we had a high of 65 degrees. One of the more memorable Halloweens...to say the least.

Ha...ha...THE VIRGIN RIVER!!! That's funny. We are going to dinner at Katherine's Steak House at the "Casablanca" with my parents, who live in Hurricane, Utah. It's half way for both of us, so that's why we are meeting in Mesquite. TRUST ME, the only thing to do in Mesquite is golf....and uh....well...the opposite of VIRGIN...activities;) We are just gonna be up there for dinner, about 2 hours, then head back for a night out!!!
 
OK... So let's decide on who want's to hook up for some good times on Friday Night....

here are the choices: (All meeting times at 9:30 so everyone can get a good dinner, or a quick Nap, or cleaned up from the track)

- HOLLOWEEN PARTY AT HARRAH'S? (we can ride SPEED THE RIDE at the same time!!!) THere is a $10.00 Cover...but I think good drink specials.
- Meet at the Bellagio in front of the fountain?
- Meet at the Hard Rock for their "STUFF"
- Meet in front of Fountain at NY NY, right on the corner of Tropicana and Vegas Blvd, (ride the roller coaster and hang at the "Bar at Times Square?".


Who's in?? and what would you like to do?

If I remember correctly (& I usually do) the Caboose (Bar) at NY NY was a great place to hang. Jyl, Katherine & I used to head over on occasion.
