Going to Pomona for the first time, any tips?

Heard on the radio yesterday that they are having a model train show at the Fairplex this weekend too. Don't know if your into that kind of thing but with rain in the forecast tomorrow it may be a good thing to visit while there. That and the museum too.

I haven't been to the Winternationals since 2006. Do they still have the memorabilia show at the adjoining hotel ?
