Terrible to watch, too much going on, too much to process, too much to interpret.
Yer right Mel, it is a "must see-must feel" event. You will enjoy.
My favorite is that because Robert Hight (#16 in Funny Car) advanced, and Eddie Krawiec (#16 in PS Motorcycle) advanced there is something wrong with it.
After all how could two lowly # 16 qualifiers ever be expected to get out of round 1?
Especially those two, REALLY?????

I agree with most of what you said,PJ. The one thing that I would like to see on tv is the reaction times. When it first came out, I liked the thought of it. Even did a marathon drive down from Michigan to see the first year when they did an exhibition. The feel and sound was awesome but to watch it stunk. We all looked around not sure what happened, who won or anything. Close your eyes because it's not about seeing, just feeling.
After not being impressed live, I decided to watch on TV the next year and still didn't like it and haven't see anything to change my mind yet. I'm watching it as I type now and the TV has improved the coverage over the first year but still not enough to make it worth it to me.
As I've said before, I love football, but I don't want to see four teams playing at once.
For a goofy non points race sure, but after seeing it live and on TV it does nothing for me. With that said, if they keep it to one race a year then I don't care.
I would like to see four jets at once, just to feel it.
E.G. I too missed the RT's but there is only so much time before the next quad burnouts. Over all I think the TV coverage was great. I like it live, and on TV.
Can't wait till Mr. Smith puts in the other two lanes in Vegas.![]()
