Contrary to some people's believe, when these things shake or smoke(or both) the tires, it doesn't necessarily mean the clutch guy jack the deal off.

Tony, your probably right. I realize the tune-up will effect the way the car launches, but anytime the car blows the tires off it's over-centered somewhere.

Tony, just to make sure and over simplify....

Shake= too little ponys?
Smoke at the hit= too many ponys?

or is that a bad rule of thumb?

I'd like to see a side by comparrison of before and after. Looks like I need to search the web today :)

I applaude John Force and JFR for taking the initiative to make changes.
I really admire the man for some of the things he said in his press conference.
He is an honest and caring person.

I work in the engineering dept for the prototype lab of a major equipment company. I know from experience that changes of this magnitude take time, and I applaud everyone involved for a tremendous amount of work in a very short amount of time.

I sure do hope these changes are effective.

Sometimes it seems like we're just chasing our tails. One change will just exposed a weak link further up the stream. But, that's the nature of the beast.
