Englishtown Fatality

Very sad situation. Thoughts and prayers go to the family and crew.

That car was well past the nets and sand containment. Either the car was travelling MUCH faster than Alexis and Marty or the nets did not perform as well................

This is horrible news to wake up to. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Very sad news.
At least his last ride was his best. Parker ran his career best ET and speed.

That is the way I want to go when the time comes. Doing what I love and doing it well.

My sincerest condolences & thoughts go to his family, friends, our racing family, & everyone @ E-town.

RIP Neal!!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. That video of what is left of the chassis did not look good. Wonder if the car made it that far or they moved it to that location? I thought the new setup was multiple nets (2 or 3) not just one. Looks like things are still down at the track as it is 5:00 pm now and nothing new posted. Maybe they are going to call it a day.

Video? Where did you see video already???

Secondly let's not point blame until we know what happened. Maybe a stuck throttle or some other cause. Maybe the driver had a heart attack or something happen and he was already gone as the car went in the shutdown. Too many "ifs" to throw anyone under the bus yet. The car was only doing 250 at the quarter mile mark. I would think it headed into the sand at a much less rate than Kalitta.

I know you have several posts on this site, but all I can say in response to your post is, Welcome to Nitromater, Dave...................

Please don't speculate on what happened and insert your opinion on the track, NHRA'S safety policy or what "SHOULD BE DONE" when a guy just lost his life, a wife lost her husband and racers lost a good friend... Have some respect for ****s sake folks...

My family's condolences and prayers to Neal's Family, friends, and crew.

How sad. Condolences to the Family and their friends. Life if just too short sometimes, I hope he didn't suffer. Horrible.
