Curious how this will all play out with TSR being sponsored by Mopar but Elite running Chevy cars. Rumor has it that Elite might try to bring Mopar back into the mix into pro stock.

I believe Penske and Ganassi have been associated with different manufacturers at the same time. I remember Red Bull F1 having Renault and Aston Martin, then Honda.Curious how this will all play out with TSR being sponsored by Mopar but Elite running Chevy cars. Yes, at one time (2008) Ganassi ran Dodge in NASCAR, Honda in IndyCar and Lexus/Toyota in IMSA. Right now Penske runs Ford in NASCAR, Chevy in IndyCar and Porsche in IMSA all out of the same shop in Charlotte. Ganassi had one shop in Indy (IndyCar and IMSA) and on shop in Charlotte (NASCAR).I believe Penske and Ganassi have been associated with different manufacturers at the same time. Where did you hear this rumor?Curious how this will all play out with TSR being sponsored by Mopar but Elite running Chevy cars. Rumor has it that Elite might try to bring Mopar back into the mix into pro stock.![]()
So different teams with different manufacturers is not that uncommon.
Or maybe put a Dart body on the Camaro chassis
I don’t see the problem with how old, they all have modified body’s from stock and with out manufactures stickers, it’s hard to tell the difference now anyway.Curious - I think the last Dart model was like 2016 or 2017. Has too much time passed to run a Dart body? Wasn't sure what the rule was about how old a body/model could be and still be used.
Wow......I had the belief that to be used a model had to be in production or only 2-3 years after production of a model stopped. Thanks for the info.2009 or later model years are allowed.
Yeah there aren't many attention getting designs anymore. Your point is supported by this article, it's old but relevant.I don’t see the problem with how old, they all have modified body’s from stock and with out manufactures stickers, it’s hard to tell the difference now anyway.![]()
Check out all the brands Rick Hendricks is involved in. LolMakes sense......After all, you might see John Doe Chevy/Buick/GMC, and then across town John Doe Honda, then in the next county John Doe Ford. Stands to reason teams could run different makes too.
oh I've noticed, lol. Saw many of them again today.Check out all the brands Rick Hendricks is involved in. Lol
