Elite & TSR Mopar vs Chevy?!?!?!

not sure if Elite wants go back down that Mopar road again, there already a few clock ticks behind KB Titian and switching to Mopar would complicate things, i'm sure. However unlike last time, all they would have to do is shove those Camaro motors into a doge body, so maybe it can work!

Curious how this will all play out with TSR being sponsored by Mopar but Elite running Chevy cars. Rumor has it that Elite might try to bring Mopar back into the mix into pro stock. 👀
I believe Penske and Ganassi have been associated with different manufacturers at the same time. I remember Red Bull F1 having Renault and Aston Martin, then Honda.

Yes, at one time (2008) Ganassi ran Dodge in NASCAR, Honda in IndyCar and Lexus/Toyota in IMSA. Right now Penske runs Ford in NASCAR, Chevy in IndyCar and Porsche in IMSA all out of the same shop in Charlotte. Ganassi had one shop in Indy (IndyCar and IMSA) and on shop in Charlotte (NASCAR).

Currently the Aston Martin team is using Mercedes engines and next year they will use Honda. Cadillac the new team on the grid next year will use Ferrari power for 2 or 3 years until they get their engine up and running by 2028 or 29.

So different teams with different manufacturers is not that uncommon.

Makes sense......After all, you might see John Doe Chevy/Buick/GMC, and then across town John Doe Honda, then in the next county John Doe Ford. Stands to reason teams could run different makes too.

Curious - I think the last Dart model was like 2016 or 2017. Has too much time passed to run a Dart body? Wasn't sure what the rule was about how old a body/model could be and still be used.
I don’t see the problem with how old, they all have modified body’s from stock and with out manufactures stickers, it’s hard to tell the difference now anyway.😴

I seriously doubt Freeman is gonna jeopardize his successful pro stock program with any manufacture switch, be it body or motor. On the subject of conflicting sponsors i notice Cody Couglin is the only family member who does not display any 'Jegs' signage on his car, despite being sponsored by them during his NASCAR days. I'm Guessing this is because of his car current owner KB/Titan's affiliation with the Rival company 'Summit'
