Good catch... I know the 3 Shoe FC's all have deals for the year, but who knows. Maybe they had a proposal with Sprint, and decided to do up a flopper for them to see full size.

I am not on the "privileged information" list at DSR, but I was there, and was told that this is a show car, in the show car stable, and that is all.

sprint sponsorship is very believable, just watch tv and notice how
many ads are for mobile communication.
was at mall of america in mpls. over weekend and the amount of
mobile comm. stores and kiosks is staggering.
it's everywhere, mite as well be on the side of a funny car too.

Exactly, these things matter a lot in marketing your product. You not going to try and market you fishing lures on the PETA channel or your how to pickup hot chicks video in the NOW magazine etc.

Any potential sponsor will have to look at their product and decide who is going to use it and how best to market to that user. Then decide who will be the best person to sponsor to sell the most product. Ability and performance are not always the most important consideration in who/what to sponsor.
