LOL...thought I saw Roger Clemens added to her pit crew lately...

Her and AJ's wins are a refreshing bit of change and variety that P/S was in definite need of...:D

Girl power? She did a great job of driving but I'd bet money that the car was built by men, engine was built by men, engine and chasis dialed-in by men, tuning decisions made by men and it all was transported to and from the track by men. It'll actually be "girl power' when they're doing all of it, not just driving. ;)

It'll actually be "girl power" when men start letting women get the experience to make the tuning decisions, or build the engines, or tune the chassis. There is a crack in that glass ceiling, broken by Kim Richards and others, but I'm betting the dyno room is a boys-only club in virtually every race shop.

It will all be better yet when we stop caring about the gender of the person. And when people stop making misogynistic posts on the internet.

Beat me to it, Chris. ;)

I seldom post here but after seeing this I just couldn't keep quiet. My takeaway from the above post is that you'll be in the hospital recovering from the wounds suffered at the hands of your wife or girlfriend if they ever see this post! The stone age ended a LONG time ago dude!

My daughter was here this weekend for a visit and watched the race with me. She's never watched a drag race before but when she saw that three "girls" were racing cars of this caliber against men she just had to see who won. When Courtney AND Erica won she was instantly hooked. She asked when the next race was here in Phoenix. Looks like NHRA just gained another fan thanks to "girl power".

Here I am the odd ball I guess. I was thinking wow that team won again so they're not a "one hit wonder". Good for them. Here you have Dave hitting his stride and EE seemingly taken her driving skills to that next level. With the women in this sport dating back many years and there being quite few women driving you'd think the sexist view would be a moot point. What came to mind for me was that Gen Y is beating up on Gen X !!!!!!

And let us not forget Dave Connley. Probably spelled that wrong but you have to admit he had a killer tune/setup on that hotrod to win all day long against some of the best in the class.

Totally agree re. Dave. I think they mentioned
he will be in a car soon. Sure hope it's planned
out well enough to keep Erica running great!
There are only so many Zippys in NHRA!

Man, that car showed some HP didn't it?

My guess is that Tommy Utt was the missing piece of the puzzle. Congratulations to all. Pro stock is my favorite class by a big margin ... If I were to ever win the lotto, most of the money would be lost trying to win a Wally in this class!
