Well not really, but tonight they had grudge drag racing on the front straight of Willow Springs Raceway. It was their first time doing this and they didn't promote it much because they wanted to get their feet wet without a large crowd.
Well they has a surprisingly big turnout. It was street legal street race style. No clocks or tree. Arm drop starts and spotters at the finish. Track length was about 1000 feet.
I ran my vette and had a blast. You just run who ever lines up with you.
It was so much fun and word of mouth will get around and the next time they do this it will be a zoo.
