On the flip side, it's not like it's the first time NHRA has done the audio cast. There are 20+ events a year, they are planned a year in advance, and they've been doing the traveling road show thing for over 60 years. I would imagine that, by now, coming to town and setting stuff up is pretty old hat for a major portion of the NHRA road crew. And the tracks know its coming as well.
My biggest gripe is that it seems so low priority. It's not clear from a distance that anyone even knows that there is a problem. We just sit here with nothing (used to be a dial tone), and don't know if anyone there knows or cares if it's working. Unlike others, my email to the webmaster went unanswered.
Perhaps you could get the webmaster to put up a note on the web page (maybe even in the player's window) that indicates the status: "no track activity", "weather delay", "technical problems", "on line", that kind of thing. That would tell us two things: 1) you know/care/are working on it and 2) it's not on our end.
