She's said it herself..it's a whole new deal and takes some getting used to.

I think we'll see improvement as time goes on.

I suspect Angelle will probably swing by to answer that maybe.

I could only imagine the adjustment between the two bikes. I'm sure she will be in great shape with a few more runs. Good luck to her, George, and the whole team.

Are there other riders that have switched brands weather it's "A to B" or "B to A"
that also had some issues?

She'll get it figured out.........

seems her transition from Suzuki to Buell is harder than Antron's transition from Suzuki to top fuel ;)..........have to admit I would have lost money on that one :D

no big deal, even teams who don't change anything in the off season go through hi and lows from season to season, heck even race to race.

You have a proven driver, a proven tuner and although newer even a proven team. It'll all come together and I bet sooner rather than later

I think I read somewhere that the power curve and shift points were different and I wonder if the sound/pitch of the motor isn't so different that it messes with the anticipation of shift points.

hard to believe angelle has been chargin' on two wheels for 11+ years!
.......and always at or near the top.

Kind of amazing that she's got one of the longest qualifying streaks out there (Never has DNQ'd if my memory serves me correctly) and the bikes don't run at every event.

Hello gang. This is George on Jackie's log in.
It has been my fault. Angelle is driving really
well. She went in the low 6.90s 1st day testing.
I made dumb tuning mistakes on over half
of the runs at the Gators and at Houston.
I...yes me....burned up two engines in TX.
The S&S engines are VERY tough.
I ran too much timing and too lean.
We at G2/Star have fixed all of the engines
for Karl and Kim this week....we will test and we will
run good soon.
Thanks for all of the kind words and trust me......
it is NOT Angelles fault or Rush or KK....me, GB3

WOW

Admitting fault.........You guys got my vote.

I was not trying to insinuate that it is Angelle's fault, and for that I apologize. I was just asking for an opinion on the team as a whole. Since the man himself has chimed in I belive the question was answered.

We all know there expectations are high and rightfully so, and to be 6th in the point standings without there A game shows there ability to overcome and should be a sign "warning" to all of things to come.

Good luck to Angelle, George and the entire team!

No need to apologize. I just wanted to get the real answer out there.
Angelle is not going to blame anyone....I know her very well.
She will take it or just no comment. But it is my fault and we will
fix it...and thank you again..GB3

George-
It is more than obvious that you have lost your edge tuning the twins. You need to come back to the inlines again...Please....I'm begging you...Please!:D

The way the audiocast and TV broadcast were talking, it seemed like the announcers were talking so much about the transition, most of us assumed that was the problem.
