I was surprised when I read this article in todays Birmingham News paper. They don't normally have much to say about drag racing but I think he hit it right.

What ever happened to the report on Darrell Russell's accident?
Possibly sealed due to legal action?? Just a guess though...

I agree...that was a great article, hopefully somebody in charge reads it!
Im pretty sure we'll never hear what really happened and that may be the wishes of the Kalitta family but I hope whatever does happen, NHRA does all that they can to make these cars, tracks, spectators, and drivers as safe as possible. It is my opinion that these things need to be taken care of BEFORE an incident such as this happens...not after!
