they don't call them girl cars for nothing Joe, but you still need to be able to drive at 250mph. i drove a lot of stock , modified production, and econorail in the early 70's,but never hit 150.....i bet there's a difference.

From those that have done it. Its a step up from 150 to 250. (100mph diff).
But going from 250 to 330 ( 80mph diff ). Its more than a step up. Its a hudge step up.

Even in a Stab and steer class? Look I had always told myself that if I had $$$ falling out every which way I'd drive a Alky FC, but that's just me. But I bet they're much harder to drive than an A/Fueler!

Love all the keyboard drivers here. Why don't you guys scrape together the $$ to get in Frank Hawley's alcohol class in Florida and then tell us all how easy it is?

I'm sure you can still get killed at 200+mph, I'm quite sure that controlling any car going zero-200 in a few seconds can be a handful, and I'm pretty sure that yaking off on the 'Mater about how easy it all is, is something pretty much any idiot can do.

My super gas Corvette will run in the 170 mph neighborhood, and for the most part, is a one-hand pleasure cruise. But on the "every once in a while" run, she will rear her ugly head and remind me how fast 170 really is and how quickly things can get out of hand at that speed--and I'm nowhere near even 200!
