Todd Smith is a very valuable piece, came from under the Dick Lahaie umbrella, will be watching this move very closely
I don't recall reading that Venables was out of a job, or Todd Smith either. I guess I am out of the loop. I have forgotten who Dickie V. was tuning for last year. Wasn't Smith with the Kalitta funny car?Hmmm, so where did Dickie Venables end up going?

Dickie has been with Hagan for years and Todd was co chief with John O on JR Todd car. Dickie is suppose to be going to JR Todd car.

have been wondering if stanley black and decker (maybe spends most with kalitta mac tools sponsorship) has ever considered going head to head with scag in nhra drag racing;

the irony in all this is that Tony and Alexis are pretty good friends off track both living in Austin area. Seems to me Tony may have encouraged her to go to JCM
