I did see this under rule amendments for funny cars in ‘25. I can only assume it’s for a situation like Doug Kalitta had in Vegas.Any new safety rules regarding self-disassembling rear end housings?

Yeah, and welcome to the world of make believe. I know a team that had it's budget cut because of your hero taking office.Am hoping that with Trump in office, the economy will get better. More chances of sponsorship.
WOnder if she got a new car for this season?According to Brian Lohnes on the NHRA insider last week, Camrie Caruso and Brandon Foster have formed their own pro stock team and will be leasing engines from Elite.
I really hope so too. My home heating oil here in Connecticut went up sixty cents per gallon over the last two weeks. Gas is up fifteen cents over the same time period.Hopefully #47 can get fuel prices down. That’ll help all teams no matter the class.
I saw a picture she posted and it looked like a new car.WOnder if she got a new car for this season?
I've made it a point not to even hint at politics since joining NM, despite there being a separate political section. I can get all the politics I need on a couple of other racing sites and the constant barrage of L vs R on the cable news programs. But if that weren't the case, the two of us could potentially double our post count in about 3 days.Yeah, and welcome to the world of make believe. ...and nobody is lowering prices, because we're all fricking sheep.![]()

So if sponsorship money should loosen up in 2025, what would you accredit it to? Not a gotcha question. I'm asking you.

I'm sure a lot of businesses see the NHRA as having a good advertising/marketing value, but if they are interested but don't have the money to invest they won't/can't participate. The facts show that the economy the last 4 years has been in the puke tank.Companys seeing value in our product.

Jon, I couldn’t agree with you more! And Trump is already saving us so much on egg prices.
Ummmm what facts show that??? US GDP growth had a whopper of a year in 2021, and on par with Trump’s results in 2022, 23 and 24 (2024 isn’t in this chart but should be about 2.8 percent) https://www.macrotrends.net/global-metrics/countries/usa/united-states/gdp-growth-rateI'm sure a lot of businesses see the NHRA as having a good advertising/marketing value, but if they are interested but don't have the money to invest they won't/can't participate. Make room for nitrous bottles so they can go Faster and blow up more. Smoke the tires for a 1000 ft better racing. When will The madness stop.the new rear end rules: blankets on TF, and plate behind FC roll cage ....... when is enough enough. IMO FC and TF can race
inside parameters that don't explode the budget to stupid levels. pun intended ...... saw that press release on matthew cummings.
wonder who be will driving for the McPhillips camp this year?
Well, beats the $50k rear-ends...for now.the new rear end rules: blankets on TF, and plate behind FC roll cage ....... when is enough enough. IMO FC and TF can race

don't understand what you are saying. the rear end failures seem to still be a problem.Well, beats the $50k rear-ends...for now.
The options to solve the rear end issues were either the new adjustments you outlined or mandating a new $50k rear end assembly for TF and FC. Unfortunately there are no contingencies that are able to be put in place that will solve component inconsistencies from the manufacturers.don't understand what you are saying. the rear end failures seem to still be a problem.
