Not there yet, but Dallas has 14 TAFC entered with a week to go before the entry deadline. If 2 more enter, that would mark the first time all season the class would have a full field.
The intro of nitro really helped the class-funny they have the same lettersNot there yet, but Dallas has 14 TAFC entered with a week to go before the entry deadline. If 2 more enter, that would mark the first time all season the class would have a full field.
I think in time the injected fuel deal will catch on. I expect to have my car out in '25.The intro of nitro really helped the class-funny they have the same letters
Makes sense as the Jegs All star event is attached to the Stampede of Speed. Might as well run the National event if already thereNot there yet, but Dallas has 14 TAFC entered with a week to go before the entry deadline. Alcohol fields at the Motorplex are typically pretty strong. Lots of alcohol racers in the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas. It's been a long, long time since I've watched an injected nitro FC make a pass. Hopefully a couple will show up.Not there yet, but Dallas has 14 TAFC entered with a week to go before the entry deadline. Bartone fired theirs up for the first time last weekend.

I think at this point, they're going to experiment, not make a wholesale switch. Remember, Boggs has A/Fuel experience too.Interesting that Bartone appears to be making the switch to an Injected nitro TA/FC when they have had so much success with the current blown combination. I guess drag racers are gluttons for punishment. "If it works, let's fix it anyway" ??
Pretty sure the Bar tones can afford to experiment.Interesting that Bartone appears to be making the switch to an Injected nitro TA/FC when they have had so much success with the current blown combination. I guess drag racers are gluttons for punishment. "If it works, let's fix it anyway" ??

It is a fine line, but in recent years the TAD class has achieved pretty good parity, I believe we can do it in TAFC as well.My fear would be if someone put together an extremely competitive A/FC the rules changes would come down on them. Fine line.
Back on topic, when I started running TA/FC 35 years ago it was common to see 28 to 30+ plus cars entered. Sad to see the numbers so low now.

Randy, I know my brother told me when they switched A/F that parts cost was lower, is that still the same nowI agree. Bucky and I over 20 years ago tried to get NHRA to allow A/FC but our fellow big namers cried, so it never happened.
