Pomona is prohibitively expensive to park ($20 on Friday, $25 Sat-Sun) and that is a NHRA facility. That's right ... $70 to park if you go all 3 days. That probably has more to do with Fairplex than it does NHRA, but I am also pretty sure NHRA gets a healthy cut.
Chris, can't you still buy a cheaper parking spot and just park at the back of the lot and walk up that little hill and jump on the free bus that takes you from the motorhome lot right to the front gate?

This is an interesting comment Karl, and I'm using the races that I attend religiously each year as an example. Gainesville, parking is free. Atlanta, parking is free. Indy, I park near the back gate at a little farm, it's $7 per day. All of these tracks are NHRA tracks.

So is it the non-NHRA tracks that are trying to make a killing on parking? Just curious?
NHRA National Events at Non-NHRA owned tracks.... not that it matters anymore... Perfered parking not in a grass field that turns into a mud-bog if you say sprinkies/ light shower near it... But Yepper $10 to a day to park, I meant Gas cost one way.
I will never go to a track owned by B.Smith... so I guess I've seen my Last NHRA Nat. Event in person...

Karl, i respect your decision, but, im just curious as to why you won't go to a B Smith facility? They are some of the tracks that i love the most.

I'll tell you what Karl, if you want to attend an event anytime in person, I'll cover the parking! I hate to see someone who loves drag racing as much as you do not attend an event!! And I'm not bullshitting!!

Does someone what to explain what these silly points are?
If you are talking about your points at the top right corner of the home page. I think you receive points for your post count and for the amount of likes you receive. If you like someones post then you can click where it says like at the bottom right side of their post. I just clicked the like button on one of your posts.

Soooo.... Whoever dies with the most points win.... grade school much?

That is what F1 is doing next year, but they are doing it by weight, not volume. Cars can start the race with a maximum of 100 kilograms (220 pounds or thereabouts) of fuel on board. Refueling is still banned during the race, so that fuel has to last the whole race.

Unless they are going to stash extra fuel in the frame rails, slashing the amount of fuel they have for a run is a very easy way to police the power level. Everything after that has to fall in line...

And then the top 10 goes into the matter countdown after Indy.
