I pulled over to the side of the road, went to starbucks.com on my cell phone, it coughed up a location, popped that into the GPS, and went on. It dumped me at a strip mall -- under construction. The Starbucks wasn't even open yet...

Ther's one on Craig road right across the street from the Cannery.

It's on Tropicana just east of the Trop itself. Just off the strip from the corner that has NY, Excalibur, the Trop, and MGM. Frankly, it's a bit of a dive, but it's nicer than the Trop (which is just about dead), and of course the scenery is nice, if you're into that sort of thing...

Yessiree, I passed by it yesterday as we left the airport. It looks divey. LOL. But I have always heard they have the best wings. Heh. The eye candy isn't my kind of thing. Hahaha. And hubby pretends he doesn't like it so ... yeah.

Yes, sir. I'm here already. We're about to head to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. Hubby never got to see it when we lived here so check it out we shall. We're going to swing over to the track tomorrow and pick up the tickets from will call. Hubby is even coming with me on Sunday. I'll be on my own Friday and Saturday.

And yeah, we can actually meet, instead of shoving each other out of the way for a shot of Scelzi. LOL. We can trade notes on cameras. *claps*

Anyone want to get hold of me, shoot me a PM, or better yet shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] with your phone number. I have a BlackBerry so I can just copy/paste your number from the e-mail and text ya. Our friend who is gracious enough to let us crash at her place does not have a computer or Internet connection at her house. LOL. So my BlackBerry is my main form of connection. I am at a Starbucks now but I don't think I want to do this every day. Heh.

For many years locals called it the "Reamer" because of it's "alternative" clientele, just a little FYI.

Does your Hubby feel lucky your letting him go with you one day to the track? Not sure if Sleazy's gonna be there though.

He's lucky I'm not dragging him to the track for all three days. . He enjoys it and watches the races on TV with me he's not quite as much of a fan as I am. it's good that we don't spend our entire vacation together. Lol.
