At the March Meet last year the starter at Famoso disqualified to NE2 cars for not staging in eliminations....no drama, he just let them sit, gave them the stage signal, let them sit and red lit them both.
.......Whatever it was I think he got his message across.

lmao!probably something like, 'harley davidson does not pay all that money to watch
you two sit on the line'![]()
Doesn't anybody remember the Indy '71 finals
People to this day are still talking about that race.
And it was voted one of NHRA's top 60 greatest moments.
I say let them melt on the line if they're so inclined.
The drivers and crew chiefs know what they're up against by getting into a burndown.
Don't forget, you can't have a burndown unless both parties play along.
.
Didn't Buster have a burn down where some Prostocks had a staging duell and when they finally staged and went on the chip he didn't turn the green on.
The poll has been up a full week. Over 81% agree, the starter should let them melt, or run out of gas, and NOT shut them off. Perhaps someone in Glendora will get the memo.....![]()
