Grew up in the Chicago suburbs, will never forget the commercials for Union Grove on WLS 890 am. Also US 30 in Gary Indiana.

Fun times. I saw my first fuel funny car match race at US 30 Dragstrip. The radio adds called them super fuel funny cars.

We had it pretty good in Chicagoland back then. US30, Rockford, Oswego and Greatlakes. Those tracks shaped part of my life and I'm greatful for that.
