I like that. Good exposure for drag racing on the editorial side and it's true too. Not sure why you'd have 2 christmas trees.

I love it!! Although...what's with the V-6 nitro engines??? Could that be NHRA's plan to slow Top Fuel and Funny Car and return to 1/4 mile racing? Hehehehehehehe! I hope not.

Way back in the 80's, Milan Dragway had THREE trees. One in the middle and one on the outside of each lane. The reason? So door slammers with huge scoops could always see the tree and not give up that advantage to the dragsters, altereds, and roadsters.

Maybe they aren't nitro cars-they might be comp cars (lots of Eaton Enterprise built v-6's in comp-please note that in comp there are lots of cars using modern powerplants-I predict there will be even more four-valve motors racing next year). then the question is what is the US auto industry's index vs the competition and you know that they aren't going to take a permanent hit.
