Howard = Big Boss indeed!!

I didn't know if you had a hand in the content creation Martin - which is freaky and still super COOL.

Thanks for the secret reply Martin, you're awesome. 👌
Lüz Technologies from Montreal created the video content, along with longtime Rush artist Hugh Syme and the band. Huge collaborative effort.
Howard designed the lighting rig, and I am his engineering draftsman, as well as the lighting programmer for the tour.

Just clearing that up 😆

waiting for tonite's set list. the 3rd show. i'm expecting 'fly by night' will be part of it, and i hope 'the trees' as well.

almost an outer body experience. it could possibly be 15-20 years since i've listened to this tune.
(and i listen to a LOT of rush) there was a time in my life when this album came out, i remember a summer with a cousin.
we were both barely old enough to drive. we had moving pictures on cassette. it never left the radio for probably 2 weeks.
it was that good, and we loved every second of every song.

Load-in live from Mexico City

would imagine the border knows ahead of time when a multi-rig operation is coming through?
smooth sailing all the way down to mexico city?

What is a ballpark number of people travelling with the band to do all the functions that go into putting on a Rush concert (including the merch folks)?

18 semis = at least 18 drivers.

No issues; the Production Manager has great logistics skills... This is a top-tier environment. I can get a couple of trucks and busses across borders pretty well- this is a whole different level.

I believe we are about 50 touring personnel, plus the local and national promoters and other aspects of back of house...

Its gonna make for at least a couple of slo-pitch teams coming out of this before MLB playoff season... Lots of gloves out here in the parking lot ⚾

If you're allowed to share, what is the real border issue that caused last night's show to be postponed?

Is it true there was also an issue getting into Mexico?
Moral of the story: Do the U.S. shows first, then head south.
