I bet it could be wrapped to look just like a Toyota too...LOLOLOLOL
I must be used to the bodies or something, I was looking at the picture and while it is vastly different to a stock mustang I can recognise it as a mustang funny car body.
And we wonder why brand wars are dead..
One look at that body without a wrap kind of sums up the NHRA's problem.

ok negamaters-knock it off. Someone is coming up with a safer + better mousetrap-something that hasn't be improved on since bodies first were made out of glass. How about a thumbs up for wise use of fords money?

I'm not sure the nitro cars need to look like street cars. And, they really never can again, even if they were backed down to 300mphISH speeds. Fuel cars are the extreme classes, they shouldn't look like street cars IMO. Ever see the Prototype road race cars? Do they look like Vettes and Mustangs? Pro Stock, on the other hand, I think could benefit from taking a step back and developing a new formula based upon the new factory muscle being sold.
Yeah I don't see why he can't keep running a ford body just because ford is leaving.
