I didn't even realize that there were any other games this weekend! :rolleyes: Actually Terry I would be pissed myself. The MICHIGAN victory over ohio state Saturday will be the mother of all college games but I'd want to see my own team play if I wasn't a fan of either school. You're getting the shaft. :mad:

Dave, I kinda agree, but I do realize the magnitude of the Michigan-Ohio State game, and I have to admit that if both games would be on in the 2:30 time slot, I'd definitely be watching both switching back and forth. And I'm not really that pissed since NU loyalty aside, If I were a programmer and had a chance to run something as big as the Michigan-Ohio State game, I'd probably junk a game between an unrated team and a barely rated team. Our time is coming, and we'll just have to be patient and wait until we're good enough again to command the time slots! After all the fun with this thread, I'm really looking forward to watching the "big" game instead of NU-CU. Really......:rolleyes:

I would be upset also if I were you BUT you are gonna get to see the best game ever when OHIO STATE stomps all over that blue team.

You can be a honorary BUCKEYE for the weekend & be on our WINNING team!!!
 
I see your point Terry. If it comes down to one channel / one game then I understand the decision but you would think that you would see your local game on some alternate channel.

Thanks, guys! I appreciate being included! This way I can watch OU Baylor at 11, Tim is rooting for the Huskers this weekend in their non-appearance, and in deference to all of our newly-formed friendships, I'll just watch the Michigan-Ohio State game, cheer for both teams, and may the best team win! Hasn't this thread been a lot of fun so far? Now I have friends on the 'Mater! Cool. Go Huskers????

What a sad day for MICHIGAN football. R.I.P. Bo You made MICHIGAN football what it is today. We all wouldn't be having the fun with this thread if it weren't for the great Woody Hayes and Bo Schembechler.

I will be leaving for a hunting trip on Sunday morning. I won't be around on Monday to discuss the outcome of the game. After this afternoon I won't be back on line until the 27th to pass on my congrats or accept them (hopefully). Hope it's a safe game for both teams. This week has been a blast!!

A BUCKEYE is a nut. MY grandparents had a BUCKEYE tree in their backyard when I was little & I still have some of them in a bowl for good luck, so I will be shaking them around tomorrow afternoon!!
 
My prayers go out to Bo's family. God will have his hands full for the game tomorrow with Woody and Bo back together.

Thanks for the buckeye info. Dave, Teri, just gotta ask--is Bo's passing an omen of any kind, and if so, for whom? Please understand I'm not making sport of the great coach's passing, but I always wonder about that kinda stuff. Ever met a racer who wasn't way bad superstitious?

That is very sad news.

Have a good hunting trip. My husband got a Black Buck last weekend & he is going again this weekend.
