I guess the economy is still hurting a lot of teams. Comp has only 23 cars, TAFC just 16, and TAD only 10. Pretty weak for the opening race in Pomona.These classes are usually populated with people running their own businesses, kind of a good barometer of the financial climate. The west coast has always been a hotbed for alky cars, kind of a bummer to see the low car counts
 
Maybe a factor, but like I said, I'm thinking it's mostly money.
 
I'm wondering how many alcohol teams will be making the trek to Gainesville next weekend for the Regional? It looks like a lot of folks either haven't set a schedule yet or they're not starting there. :confused: I know it's a LONG way from Pomona...
