Speaking of names of great drag racers. Whats Cory Lee up to? I believe he drove the Poineer Car after Tom Hoover retired.

Ahhhh, now there's a name not mentioned enough around here. Ol' George Hoover (Tom's Dad) was an absolutle gift to drag racing. At 70+ years old, he could tune the heck out of a nitro V8. And on top of that, he was just such a wonderful person. And his wife, too. The whole darn Hoover operation was..... just... just amazing. Such a loving family. People like that are what drag racing is all about.

Yes, Cory did drive Hoover’s car.

He has also driven for the Worsham’s and if I’m not mistaken I think he also drove for Dale Creasy sr. for race or two.

Also, I think I read somewhere that he would be driving someone’s nostalgia car this weekend at the CHRR in Bakersfield.
