Mike Salinas did run it WAY past the 1,000' mark on at least one run that I saw. In fact I rewound the run on TV to make sure my eyes weren't seeing things and I could clearly see the butterflies on the injector open to about the 1,320'.
Interesting that on the last nights Qualifying broadcast, NHRA's latest statement left out the part about them sending wrong info to the Salinas. Lohanes and Tony P never questioned it , they just went along with the company line. Salinas stated his car would weight the same that it did in Gainesville.
