prostock is always been my favorite class, but quite frankly, with the exception of Tony and Warren Johnson, the drivers, all come off as, dry as grapes! on camera
I was at the Orlando World Street Nationals in 2009 (or maybe 2010, cant remember for sure).... Tony Christian "threw down the gauntlet" and challenged everyone to a golf cart race on Friday night. lol. Good times. RIP, Tony.
There were not many bigger "Characters" in Pro Stock than Tony. The level of serious he was when it was time to race was equal to the level of fun he had when the racing was over. And he loved the smack talking, even when it was being directed his way. That has to be part of why he and Pat Musi became so close.
A conversation with Tony was never boring, I promise.
RIP
I spoke to Tony Christian about a year ago when I was having trouble charging one of his Braille 16v batteries on my TS car. He kept his name out there. Prayers for his family.
