Michael Collins, the Apollo 11 astronaut who remained aboard the Columbia while Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon, passed away today at age 90.
A true American hero.
May he rest in peace.

RIP Mr. Collins. I had the pleasure of seeing your Apollo 11 launch. Even though I was several miles away, it was still an awesome thing to see.
