yes ---- i finally got mine back for the big 64 FC Texas Finals n dallas , i didnt think that would happen .. did any body else get a refund -- B there .

I bought tickets ( credit card ) for Gainesville on the Wed. before the race. The NHRA postponed the race the next day. I live in Michigan so going back wasn't a option. I challenged the purchase with my credit card company , the credit card company gave me a refund while they investigate my claim. Got a couple of messages from the credit card company saying they are still investigating.

Ya know, with what they are running on Friday, it's almost like the Old Daze races. Makes me wonder if National events will change format to Pros & a few sportsmen classes & exhibition cars??? 2 day event, mostly heads up racing, etc. Just my 2 cents.

I don't think NHRA has ever given refunds. Your tickets are good for a future event though if they are handling it like their rain out policy.
Bandimere will give full refunds if you are unable to attend. I think it’s a track by track decision. I’m sure there are some that won’t want to refund fans.

I never though they gave refunds , that's why I never order tickets until a few days before the event. ( weather dependent)

We've been going to Gainesville for about 15 years, this year we were sitting in the seats when they canceled it. now the NHRA ticket office won't even reply to my emails. I put a read receipt on the last email and got this notice "was deleted without being read"
I really thought NHRA was better than that.

I went to Show Time Raceway a few months ago on a Saturday night to watch the late models run and sure enough it started to rain.
The owner of the track got on the PA system and asked everyone to please stop at the sign in shack for a full refund! Entry fee that night was $30.00 a person and I had paid for myself to two friends.

I really though I heard him wrong because after 40 years of going to drag strips and circle tracks I have never seen a promoter and track owner offer you your cash back. It was only a rain check for other race.

Gainesville refund update. Channeled charge for tickets after NHRA blew me off for a refund . Credit card company gave me a provisional refund while they look into it. Got a letter today saying the amount issued to my card is final. Took about 3 months for this to get settled but I did get my $$ back.

I attended the Pomona 2 race in 2002. I just had to see Kenny Bernstein's Forever Red swan song (little did we know he would soon be back in a car). I was making a whole weekend of it. Thursday-Sunday at the track and attend the Awards show on Monday. Well it ended up pouring down rain for two days and no racing happened. NHRA offered a voucher for the rained out days to be used towards the next years race but no refunds. I live in Illinois and knew I would not be attending the following year. I called NHRA when I got home and asked them if I could use my voucher credit towards my U.S. Nationals tickets, since NHRA owns both Pomona and Indy. They agreed and credited my Indy tickets in 2003. I see your from Michigan--maybe you can see if they will apply your Gainesville voucher towards an Indy outing?

If they cancel they should refund you your money! If they don’t they will have a serious problem! I guarantee it! Screw a rain check crap!
the fact most paid for a three day event now reduced to two days. If the race is still on the schedule then they need to refund you for Friday. From what I read they are limiting attendance to only NHRA members for Indy!
If that’s the case how will they refund the people not allowed to attend? What’s the use of having tickets if you can’t attend! They have a world of hurt coming their way!

Bandimere offered me a full refund If I wasn’t attending or $20 credit back for each ticket for Friday. The summer Indy races are limited to Nhra members. The US Nationals isn’t part of it.

That’s not right. It should be a full refund. What I’m most concerned about is the limited attendance at the events. If it’s just for Indy then that’s a good thing but as most hardened fans know Indy is a week long race so people have more than one day refund. But all of the races were three day events so they have to refund. Do what NASCAR plans to do call it a peaceful protest so rules set forth no longer apply! That’s the only way they are gonna get around the refund! There is a world of hurt and legal suits coming their way! Everyone knows NHRA is having an attendance issue this quagmire isn’t gonna help!

Did you not read my post? They will give a full refund if I’m not going to attend. If I’m attending, they will still give me $20 back per ticket. I don’t understand how that is not right?

If you paid 20 bucks for the ticket which I know it’s more then that isn’t right! You should get a full refund not just 20 bucks a ticket! That’s what I’m talking about!
If your satisfied getting a small portion of a refund then that’s your choice! I think it’s not right!

So you expect them to give me a full refund even though Im going to the race? Let’s do it this way. They gave me a full refund for Friday. I then purchased a new Friday ticket for $25. You do realize that they are racing on Friday? They won’t have nitro cars but will have Comp on down and the pro mods will be running.

Have you been guaranteed entry? Like I said Indy will be only NHRA members haven’t heard anything beyond that. If you have knowledge of it being different at the other venues then please share it.
