zMax 100% refund

I saw today that zMax is going to give a 100% refund for the race that was cancelled. I believe I saw it float by on the track's Twitter or Facebook page.

Not a refund, but 100% credit towards one of the two races at zMax next year. Although a 100% credit, they are still charging taxes and a handling fee for each ticket, so there's definitely more out of pocket than just exchanging your ticket.

And as for tossing the ticket, if you purchased it online (which is probably 99% of the ticketholders), then there is record of the transaction to obtain the credit.

Seems more than generous (I'm sure Z-Max can't get the tax and fees refunded to THEM).

Believe me, I was very happy about it!! Although I didn't get to see the race, I'll be back to try again next year!

I sure wouldn't throw a ticket away if an event was cancelled until i new it was worthless.

I kept my rained-out Reading ticket for a year in my wallet and it cost me only $5.00 to get into the next season's race

NHRA used to give you credit towards any race you wanted on a Rainout in the 90's, I guess now it is just for the Rainout or in this case Cancelled event!

Last year in Reading they told me I could only use my prior year ticket in exchange for that same day. So I could only use my Sunday ticket from 2012 on Sunday last year. I always thought it was any day the following year at that track.

Just saw the weather forecast for the rest of the year. Dallas, St. Louis, Reading and Las Vegas will be rained out. Those races along with the remainder of Charlotte will be completed at Pomona!!
