Perhaps next time your link could also include a short note of explanation like "Here is a link to the 2004 rainout announcement", especially when your posting was made just 2 minutes from NHRA's announcement of Friday's rainout.

That additional info along with your link would help those of us who don't necessarily read every single post in a thread.

Is the forecast for rain all weekend?

I use wunderground.com and they are usually spot on.... They show 60% on Saturday and less than 10% (which means none) on Sunday. They showed 100% yesterday and 90 % today so there was no surprise. I don't know if any of you remember 2 years ago but it looked pretty bad and all of sudden the sky opened up and the sun was out. My son and I decided to have breafast at the Sheraton before heading home on Sunday and before we were done with breakfast the rain was gone. I think we fired off 1st round less the an hour behind.

I am waiting until tomorrow morning to head down, but I am still planning on going
