What is "Pro Wrestling?" Does someone actually watch it?
I'm a 49ers fan. The Niners got a new stadium in Santa Clara; Levis Stadium.
Last weekend, 74,000+ people paid a pretty penny to watch a wwf wrestling thing (no idea what it was I'm not into that stuff).

I don't want this to turn into ass kiss rodeo on my part, but both of my limited interactions with Stat Man Lewis Bloom have been pleasant. He seemed genuinely surprised I recognized him the first time. I also like the job Reiff does, and my few interactions with him away from the track have also been pleasant.

My dad and I remember Lewis Bloom from his announcing days at E-town (And my dad's racing day's). In fact, he always says hi and stops to chat whenever we see him in the winner's circle.

In the collector car world there is a saying. I'll clean it up a bit...

"There's an a$$ for every seat." In this case, there were 74,000 of them to sit in the grandstands to watch theatrics on display disguised as an actual sport, I guess.

Well maybe he has changed since he has hit the big time lol

Then lets get him out of that silly "Stat Guy" chair and into the pits. Perhaps he'll ask the drivers something besides their favorite color or if they like fuzzy bunnies. I still think Gary Gerould is a great autosports announcer...I blame the ESPN producer for cramming the "how do you feel"? crap down our throats.

I'm just happy they are too lazy to vote.

I wouldnt mind hearing these two call a race

In my opinion, Reiff sounds like he's trying to hard to seem way into it. It seems like he's forcing it. Mix that with Dunn using "BEST IN THE BUSINESS" to describe everyone including the truck drivers, I eventually turn the volume down.

Try this: Take a shot every time Dunn says "BEST IN THE BUSINESS" and you will not see the semifinals!

Same thing for Reiff with the "year of the woman". Last year was unbearable, and if I had started taking shots I'd still be in rehab. And then he started again this year at Pomona... Nothing against the ladies; it's just that they have been racing and winning for decades... it's not really news.

I agree with some things being pushed too much but it may not be his fault. Often certain tag lines are given to them from above to push for a telecast. Be it "Year of the Women", countdown, blowups/crashes or whatever the latest real or imagined controversy, I know from my former writing editors, certain themes are pushed and/or encouraged.
