Positive things to come out of 2025.

Since many of you seem to only post negative thoughts on this page, I would like to know what you all think some of the positive things that happened this season are.
Speed records in TF and FC
Leah back in 26. Tony to drive for Elite
Emergence of Gadson as PSM champ
Capps to add a TF for 26
Reed return from injury and wins event
Shumacher returns
Prock dominates
Kalitta gets hot in countdown and wins 2nd title

For me it’s:
1-the resurrection of IHRA giving lower to mid sized nitro teams a place to race, be competitive and make some $$
2-New and expanded Top Fuel teams from Elite, Rick Ware and Ron Capps
3-Huge TV numbers for Dallas
4-Big Speeds in Top Fuel, made Brittany Force qualifying runs must see TV
5-Shawn Reed’s comeback win after his crash and injury (I lost the top of my left pinky earlier this year so seeing Reed thrive while being down a digit was inspiring to me and my 9.5 fingers)

That “The Good Lord” allowed me to wake up this morning; Now it is my turn/time to continue the positivity! The opportunity to get on Nitro-Mater and complain or give props to drag racing/NHRA & watching the races, all year long. Hearing the various things/stories, from all of you through the years, hearing Larry Sutton stories or Alan Reinhart - chime in with tidbit’s! Talking about food options at local tracks/events, everything said above (from fellow “Mater’s) about the positive things that happened this past year. Sometimes it’s easier to concentrate on the negative things, than the positive ones (I’m just as bad & to blame sometimes, of that!). Mother Nature, for once (I believe) didn’t allow “The Finals” to happen, yesterday (this weekend). Am I disappointed - Sure I am! Am I pissed-off at NHRA/teams, didn’t travel thousands of extra miles, get a venue that isn’t available (from year - year and a half in advance), team’s not canceling family vacations/ team holiday parties, spending money (that I’m not donating/spending 💩 on to help!) etc; for my liking’s - Hell No! The easiest thing, that I can do (after this long ass message, Sorry!); Is wish all of you a great thanksgiving, a very Merry Christmas & Happy New year! And I’m planning on waking up next year, at the beginning of season, to do it all over again! Not sure if that will happen (with MSA), not going to fret/worry about it; but hope you all: “Have a Great Day”; Rinse & Repeat!🤞👊

Prock winning MORE races than last year?!

Mike Knudsen winning 3 races and putting Matt Hagan 2nd in points. I think the microscope was on that team with Dickie leaving, it was going to be sink or swim. I thought he did excellent. It gives hope that the young guns can get it done too.

Tony Schumacher coming back

Maddi Gordon and Ron Capps TF car announcement

Elite Motorsports going top fuel racing

Getting to see 340-mph multiple times
Getting to watch a few different A-Fuel Funny Cars (at the beginning of the season anyway)
The full Pro Modified fields and the qualifying bumping fun
The (generally) full Top Alcohol Dragster fields making qualifying so exciting
Increasing Comp fields towards the end of the year
Class racing at Indy
The phenomenal talent of the Lucas Oil Sportsman Racers, that make a math nerd like me curl my toes calculating how and why a certain driver won or lost a heat, including watching drivers "throw away" a win when a driver breaks, and the other driver isn't paying attention and breaks out - always gets me SCREAMING and being totally GOOPED
