Works for me,trapped nitro fumes evrrywhere lolIf any new drag strips are built they should make them indoor tracks.
I've raced at one. Pretty cool, too. Of course it was one of the venues available on the NHRA Drag Racing 2 video game but indoor racing, nonetheless.If any new drag strips are built they should make them indoor tracks.
I'm with Alan and others that say 'never say never' but everybody's seen the forecast which identifies an "atmospheric river" sitting on top of southern California that has generated Level 3 flood advisories (4 is max) for the entire area, which is already soaked from the most rain SoCal has seen in November in the last 50 years.
Praying for the best.

not what anyone wishes for, but yesterday's almost sudden death 'like' racing was great to watch all day long and into evening.
......... how about top dragster. casey plazier in his 7.30's fast super comp dragster shows all the quick TD racers how to win running 7's.
comes up against his buddy and teammate in the final, and just like that casey is TD champion. it was fun to watch.
......... tough luck award to TS racer ed olpin. ed is way out front in final as opponent drops back. ed doesn't catch it in time and breaks out by -0.002
......... in the old guys rule category, ed destaute driving his super gas vette nose dives at the stripe and lets his oppenent take stripe and breaks out. ed climbs
from car dawning his old, red, nhra winston champion cap. sooper cool.
........ rite down to the final in super comp. chad webber has to win for the title. even at half track, then chad surges ahead, then on the binders allowing
opponent to take the stripe and he breaks out, handing chad the trophy and the championship. and chad did not have the better light. what a race.
huge applause to nhra for yesterday. great to wrap up all those classes and everyone can tow home, with exception of champions.

i was a the bickyard 400 nascar race it was raining so they sent everyone home. i stayed it the track.later i heard them say close the crossover gates.i asked my friend that worked there what that was about. he said you were going to start the race, know one out side of the track knew this.oh man people were mad.there was know one in the stands

I've always pondered a track being build with a roof over it, but open on the sides to let the fumes out. Noise inside might be crazy. But would keep everyone dry. But since it's a fantasy, have to be a retractable roof so if the weather is nice you can run without the roof.If any new drag strips are built they should make them indoor tracks.

Weather Underground is usually pretty accurate. They show Sunday as mostly dry. Not sure just what could be accomplished on a "Sunday" (with a few track-drying delays built in), but it seems like maybe something could be worked out.

I'm guessing you are correct. Bummer for the smaller teams in Funny Car and Pro Stock who won't get to race even though they are there.

95% chance of rain today (Saturday) and only 47% chance of rain on Sunday. Looks like we are headed towards qualifying/eliminations based on current point standings. That should prove interesting as crew chiefs and drivers will need to be on their game big time. For crew chiefs how much do you pull the car back and not turn it into a pooch For drivers be prepared to earn your keep, how hard do you press the lights and be ready to grab a hand full of brake in an effort to save the run. Conditions will favor the less horsepower cars and should prove interesting for us spectators to watch.
