Works for me,trapped nitro fumes evrrywhere lolIf any new drag strips are built they should make them indoor tracks.![]()
I've raced at one. Pretty cool, too. Of course it was one of the venues available on the NHRA Drag Racing 2 video game but indoor racing, nonetheless. If any new drag strips are built they should make them indoor tracks.![]()
Multiple reasons. Why cant they move the race?
Here is the best part of Ed winning super gas. Ed does not use a line lock or timers just old style drag racing. Ed and I talk all the time. Great job Ed.in the old guys rule category, ed destaute driving his super gas vette nose dives at the stripe and lets his oppenent take stripe and breaks out.
Ed an Randy Fabro in his Pinto have both made a zillion runs in the same cars. Randy also did great winning many rounds at Pomona. Here is the best part of Ed winning super gas. Ed does not use a line lock or timers just old style drag racing. Ed and I talk all the time. Great job Ed.And had some .000 lights to win.

that was mentioned on the utube feed yesterday, that he has s/g and NEIII on his scoopEd also kicks ass in NEIII of the Heritage Series too.
I've always pondered a track being build with a roof over it, but open on the sides to let the fumes out. Noise inside might be crazy. But would keep everyone dry. But since it's a fantasy, have to be a retractable roof so if the weather is nice you can run without the roof.If any new drag strips are built they should make them indoor tracks.![]()
And Jason Grima finally getting that Australian Pro Stocker into the Winner's Circle!not what anyone wishes for, but yesterday's almost sudden death 'like' racing was great to watch all day long and into evening.
......... how about top dragster. casey plazier in his 7.30's fast super comp dragster shows all the quick TD racers how to win running 7's.
comes up against his buddy and teammate in the final, and just like that casey is TD champion. it was fun to watch.
......... tough luck award to TS racer ed olpin. ed is way out front in final as opponent drops back. ed doesn't catch it in time and breaks out by -0.002
......... in the old guys rule category, ed destaute driving his super gas vette nose dives at the stripe and lets his oppenent take stripe and breaks out. ed climbs
from car dawning his old, red, nhra winston champion cap. sooper cool.
........ rite down to the final in super comp. chad webber has to win for the title. even at half track, then chad surges ahead, then on the binders allowing
opponent to take the stripe and he breaks out, handing chad the trophy and the championship. and chad did not have the better light. what a race.
huge applause to nhra for yesterday. great to wrap up all those classes and everyone can tow home, with exception of champions.
Weather Underground is usually pretty accurate. They show Sunday as mostly dry. Not sure just what could be accomplished on a "Sunday" (with a few track-drying delays built in), but it seems like maybe something could be worked out.If the forecast is even close to accurate there is no way. They're calling for heavy rain in Pomona all the way through Tuesday of next week. Flood advisories are already out there.
How about that .001 reaction time in the finals by Ed. The other guy didn't have a chance.Ed Destaute just texted me and he is shikeled titless. and after hip surgery in march.

Qualifying order would have to be determined by point standings and they would just run eliminations.Weather Underground is usually pretty accurate. They show Sunday as mostly dry. I'm guessing you are correct. Bummer for the smaller teams in Funny Car and Pro Stock who won't get to race even though they are there.Qualifying order would have to be determined by point standings and they would just run eliminations.
They did it at Ennis one year. Dont remember year. When was the last time they did qualifying based on points?
