Does anyone fly into LAX instead of Burbank or Bakersfield? How long does it take to drive to the track from there? Thanks!

The drive from LAX to Famoso is realistically 2 + hours, depending on traffic, time of day and weather conditions - your mileage may differ.

Flying direct into Bakersfield will cost more but when you factor in gas for the rent car, driving time,traffic and the HUUUGGGGEEE hassle it is to fly in and out of Lax you will be money a head. Burbank would be my second choice.

Agreed. Unless you have business to do in LA, Burbank is a good choice. I would suggest looking into Fresno also. San Jose is a busier airport than Burbank and Fresno, but that's about three hours to the north.

And if you making plans to come out, spend an extra few days as there are lots to see and do here in California.

LAX is a nightmare! Burbank is ten thousand times better.
NEVER fly into LAX unless you have to.
The B-Field airport is not far from the track, there are Hotels at the airport. It's kinda halfway between The Doubletree and Famosa.
Avoid all the LA and I-5 traffic you can.

Ironically, I prefer flying in and out of LAX even though I live in West Hills (West San Fernando Valley). Park at the Fly-Away and take the bus to the airport. They even allow you to take surfboard bags on the buses.
