With the level of Qualified Production Specialists out there, they should have spent the money and hired someone to actually Produce the song, a little collaboration in the lyrics wouldn't have been a bad idea either..............Concept is good and some of the video is cool, going from past to present in order (IMO) would have been more effective for the evolution of how drag racing has been Keepin' it in the Groove over Many Years instead of back and forth.

I'm not the best of critic's, but I bet some of my musical friends would agree..........

and once again, in this era of safety, 1000' racing and 90%; yet another
nhra promo video probably about 1/3 full of accidents and explosions; are
they suggesting to fans that they might see this if they attend?

in last few years, the 2007? saliva song 'welcome to the show' IMO
was a well done video; heavy on great racing, light on explosions/crashes;
a much more realist depiction of what you see at an nhra show.

Yes Mike it was good, too bad the actual band got screwed.....

Edited: Let me clarify, Not by NHRA but by the inner workings of representation within the Band which is why they never produced another song which by far would have still been WAY better than anything since. (again IMO)

I have allways thought that if nhra had to actually choose a theme song, "Kickstart my heart" by Motley crue would be a decent option, I mean it even has drag racing referances in it.

This is actually a video done by my Uncle and a friend. They said they hated the songs on the NHRA telecast so they made their own hoping someone might take notice.

Gotta agree with Karl, the guitar work will definitely "Qualify", the vocals however need a new "Crew Chief".
