I look forward to Darryl coming to more tracks in The South. Ferris TX and Steele AL come to mind. And IHRA is probably a shorter trip for many of them. Seems like a lot are in the SE.
I heard he bought Montgomery, AL. Don't know for sure.I look forward to Darryl coming to more tracks in The South. Ferris TX and Steele AL come to mind.

Not using the NHRA rulebook, we have our own. There are things IHRA is more flexible on, which inherently makes it cheaper. The problem is, in order for teams to be able to run both series, it’s really hard to have a ruleset that is much different. The sport as a whole needs that. So, has the IHRA implemented any rule changes to make it cheaper to run in their series, or just still using the NHRA rulebook.
Long way up or long way down?IHRA has a long way to go before they can be compared to NHRA, I wish them luck
elevator goes both waysLong way up or long way down?![]()

The whole race model that IHRA has a bigger effect. 10-race schedule. Teams don’t have to show up until Thursday for a Friday-Saturday race… much less expense on hotel and food. Only 2 qualifiers. Max of 3 elimination rounds. And finally, 1/8th mile. All of these things have a drastic effect on the budget needed to run at IHRA events.
No, I am in Kansas City. But I travel to Ohio when needed.Josh are you based around Hebron, Newark area ??
