NHRA has work to do.....

We all love the fuel racing. It's what draws people into the stands. From a racers view it is a loser. Tow a thousand miles plus, set up, make 4 qualifying runs, and then go out first round. Ouch! How many times can anyone do that? Britney can but how about Zetterstrom or Zizzo. Tony Stewart wants to go rounds and Mike Green should be able to help. Can't sell a sponsor with a car that goes out first round. Few racers make the full tour. So the Championship is really for the touring pros that get paid to do it. Maybe 10 cars. The rest are local fill in cars that used to be known as "leakers" that boogered the track. Somehow PARITY has to be evened out with the racers. I commend, Wilkerson, both Green's, Alexander, DeJoria, Richards, Tasca, Pedregon and other single car teams that FIGHT to make the show and perform. Some have made great improvements. This is what we need more of. If we lose the "other" cars to the IHRA and can't fill the fields we're in big trouble. Josh Hart ending his team and selling out should be wake up call to the NHRA.
