NHRA going public? (1 Viewer)

Obviously HD doesn't see NHRA as a sinking ship, probably (hopefully) more like a diamond in the rough. Companies buy other companies because they see profit potential, it's all about growth. And to clarify again, the IPO already happened, HD Partners went public as a SPAC (modern day blind pool) and raised the cash to be able to go out and make acquisitions, and NHRA is it. Remember, also, that not only will NHRA Pro racing be a public entity once this deal closes, but they will have access to public monies in the future. One of the biggest reasons to go public is to have access to capital to grow, and if things go well with this deal, HD could go back to the capital markets and raise another 50, 100, 150 million, etc., to fund continued growth.

Mike,

HD Partners is a public company, their stock, listed as HDP, closed today at 7.66. It has been an open company since prior to the announcement the middle of the year. Hope this helps.
