Given the California base for NHRA and (presumably) most of the employees, why is (was) the hearing set in Brooklyn, NY? Venue shopping?
I mean, NHRA's Attorney was in Atlanta?

The IATSE (the union that represents the employees) is based in New York City.

Oh yeah, I saw that but NHRA doesn't even run an event in New York. I think there should be some logic for where cases are heard.
For that matter: Are NHRA employees even represented by that union?
